        Project Planning

        At the TIC you benefit from a long-standing expertise of our collaborating clinics and engineering and science partners in designing and planning scientific and clinical studies. Our in-house specialists of board-certified radiologists and neuroradiologists, experienced MR methodologists and MR technicians together with expert physicists, biomedical engineers and computer scientists from our collaborating working groups from the University of Bern and the University Hospital Bern, Inselspital provide an extensive support in planning and setting-up your study.

        Study Hosting

        The scanner equipment of the TIC encompasses a 3 Tesla MRI unit of the latest generation and a 7 Tesla ultra-high field MRI in close proximity to the hospital environment. The TIC is one of the few facilities in the world that offer a combination of the state-of-the-art routine imaging with highly specialized technologies for personalized diagnosis and disease monitoring. Currently the TIC hosts more than 50 projects ranging from small pilots to national and international scientific and clinical studies.

        Study Follow-up

        The TIC is collaborating with world-class multidisciplinary research groups from the University of Bern and the University Hospital of Bern, Inselspital, such as the ARTORG Center, the CAIM Center, the SCAN, etc. Their MR methodologists, biomedical engineers, computer scientists, radiologists and neuroradiologists investigate new applications for advanced imaging. The main focus of research is the development of computer-assisted post-processing techniques for clinical applications. They are ready to support our customers with services and consulting in these areas of study follow-ups.
